I’ll be honest, as cute as squirrels are the grey ones should die. And everyone knows the red squirrels were happily frolicking in England when those pesky greys migrated from the US, stole the red’s food and shelter and now the red squirrel is an endangered specie.

But in Russia their black squirrel are murderous. Apparently, a group of black squirrels killed a dog for food. What might be interesting is if we were to release some hungry black squirrels on a pack of grey squirrels and see what would happen. It would be the squirrel’s very own Cold War.

I’m quite a fan of Lightroom; it’s slick gallery interface and editing features make it one of my favourite programs. Especially useful for importing my photos from my camera, and giving them the quick light adjustment. Lightroom 2 beta is being released for testing/feedback for a 30-day trial. If you’ve never used Lightroom I suggest you give it a go; it’s much better than iPhoto and I’ve yet to try Picasa who’s features are supposed to match, but it’s hardly pretty.
